Here's some of the reasons I've been busy recently! (AKA my art projects as of late..) All images taken with my digital camera, as my scanner has been scanning stuff kind of grainy recently.
Illustration II: Daniel Craig as Bond

At the current state I'm at. Once I finish the high contrast in graphite, I'm going to be scanning it and digitally coloring it in Photoshop, which will be a first for me. And looking at it this way, I realise I made one of his eyes squintier than necessary.
*goes to fix*
Design II Color: Veronica Mars painting

Our super sleuth in season one! (Imgae actually taken from the pilot.) Done in the pointalism style in arcylics.
Fantasty/Animation/Comic Book Art: continuing a storyline in Planetary

Part of a project in which we replicate a page in a comic book, then continue the story on another page in the style of the artist but introducing a new character and changing the storyline. This is my thumbnails of the second page-- I finished the first page and turned it in today in class. Original artwork in Planetary done by the amazing John Cassaday.
Art Club: Holiday Coloring Book

Continuing the trend of last year, my coloring book page for the Art Club Coloring Book that we will be donating to a local hospital.
While doing that, I watched the "Rappin' Drakken" episode on YouTube and was inspired to do the following doodle.

Check out the clip of Dr. Drakken actually rapping: HILARIOUS. (Also, I totally called some aspects of that episode. ^^)
And lastly... random Stargate Atlantis doodles!

The result of a comment thread on
mklutz's fantastic SGA motivational posters here. "Teyla is kick-your-ass-in-a-prom-dress love. One day, I want to see Teyla in full formal wear, fighting a horde."
Thus, art bunnies are born.

Drawn at the same time as the above one, it's John, Rodney and for reasons unbeknownst even to the artist, puppy!Ronon. Perhaps because Ronon acts like Sheppard's overprotective guard dog?

Doodled last night. Because they might as well rename it the John and Rodney Show already. ;)
