Sparing a moment before going to bed to rec the new USA series Psych to you good people.
It's about a guy who was trained by his cop father to have an amazing memory and powers of observation. Despite this he doesn't want to be like his dad, thus pretending to have psychic powers to get detective cases from the cops. (Being a psychic also manages to sound more believable, if possible.) katzell and I watched the third episode without seeing the first two and still throughly enjoyed it and were able to pick up what was happening.
Personally, it does conflict with SGA timeslot-wise for me. But since we can tape shows in a Tivo-esque way, everything's cool. ;)
