I've been seeing quite a few people doing hourly comics lately, so I tried my hand at it to practice drawing daily more. I was also able to do it since it was a day off-- at work I have no time to do this stuff. (PS. That's grad school class I was attending in the evening.)

I LOVED your day. I absolutely cannot pick a favorite part...having to blind yourself to cute boots, the fact that that song is always playing around you (and if it's not we'll sing it instead), the joy of bread, how tea makes everything better, simultaneous brownies and betaing, a funnel? Hilarious.

PS looking back at it I think I do have a favorite panel from the art POV--definitely the one where you discover fic by Katie--your lips and the Mac symbol on the computer are so expressive.

eeeh! So cute. I love it. Oh those boots. Emily got cute boots yesterday and I am filled with boot envy.

I am also now going to be singing The Ting Tings for the rest of the day.

Jayne Lynch is the best! I always feel slightly foolish watching Glee with Emily because I laugh so loudly at everything that woman says while Emily sits in quiet amusement. I always want to ask her if she heard that line because she must not have if she is not laughing out loud.

Also, I want Meghan brownies!

Thanks again for the beta. Draft two is done. I figure once I get your edits I'll post it. And then hold my breath and continue, in Emily's words to act "really sketchy." I was nervous! It was only the second piece of fanfiction I'd ever finished and it was for an established fandom that I had sworn off up till three weeks ago. I was conflicted! This apparently means I act like a crazy person.

it wasn't scandalous, it was fanfiction...for Merlin. I was doing edits. I wasn't so much kicking you out, as neurotically turning my focus back to my computer and completely forgetting you were in the room and then being ashamed about explaining...

That's so funny, that's exactly what happens when my aunt and I watch Glee. She will chuckle occationally and I'll be practically Lizzing. She told me last night "I think I most enjoy how much you enjoy the show".

The pan was a little too small and they took forever to cook. But I prevailed! *sends you virtual ones*

I seriously have so much glee for you right now. Little Katie, all grown up and saving China writing Merlin fic! :D
